[ONLINE] Expanding Our Space through Deep Listening for Caregivers and Kiddos (ages 7-11)

This workshop series is being offered in support of the movement for Black Lives and with the intention that the awareness practices of Deep Listening affirm and support resiliency both individually and collectively.

We invite you and your kiddo(s) to experience listening, sounding, moving, imagining, composing, and dreaming together during this 4-session experiment in intergenerational Deep Listening. Deep Listening® is an evolving practice founded by avant garde composer Pauline Oliveros: through playful, body-affirming awareness exercises and sonic meditations we will tune in to ourselves and the planet and have fun.

Neurodiversity celebrated - Sensory friendly

In addition to the 4 kiddo sessions, we are offering 2 welcome meetings for caregivers. These 2-hour sessions are offered as relaxing introductions to Deep Listening® if you’re new to the practice, and hopefully these will be a good experience if you’re a longtime Deep Listener as well. These sessions are for caregivers only (no kiddos) and we’ll talk briefly about ways to engage kiddos with Deep Listening.
